Cassilhaus Collection Oral History Videos
Over the years, Cassilhaus’ Director Frank Konhaus has narrated short, informal oral history videos to preserve some of the lore and back story of individual pieces in the collection. These musings have very basic production values and are not academic or art historical in nature but rather speak about how he and Ellen came to bring the piece into the collection, their relationship with the artist, and other background. We are grateful to Eric Pickersgill, Michaela O’Brien, Alyssa Miserendino, Phyllis Dooney, Sarah Riazati, Cassie Klos, and Anna Kipervaser who shot and produced these videos. A very special thank you to Jessina Leonard who edited the lion’s share of them and was the driving force behind the project. To date we have completed almost two hundred and they will be added to the website as time allows.
