Valpuri Remling

Meet our most recent artist-in-residence, Valpuri Remling.

Valpuri Remling is a Finnish-born artist living in Albuquerque, New Mexico since 2015, working at the Tamarind Institute as Master Printmaker and Workshop Manager. Remling received her MFA in printmaking from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts before receiving her Master Printer certificate at the Tamarind Institute in 2009.

After her training at the Tamarind Institute, Remling returned to Helsinki to become the co-owner of the workshop, Helsinki Litho, and to teach lithography at the University of the Arts, Helsinki in the Academy of Fine Arts printmaking program.
